First.

Oiler fan coming to heckle a bit in fun.

The caps out played the Oilers in all three periods??? Lol.

I've heard of home town biased but that's a bit rich.

Don't get me wrong. Overall, because of the tremendous third period by the Caps, the Caps were the better team overall.

But... The Oilers were the better team over the first 40 and even had some good shifts in the third as well.

If its one thing an Oiler fan recognizes is when the team is being dominated and the Caps last night were a far cry from dominating the Oilers all night.

Scrivens can make 32 saves in his sleep against an Eastern Conference team. It's only a challenge for him if its 60+ by a Western Conference power house.

The Oilers played well in the 1st, okay in the second, but nothing really wrong, but came out flat in the 3rd, and were very lucky to win, but that happens, when a goalie stands on his head. What i got from last night, if the Oilers want to compete this year, they need a second line center who plays a grinders game, otherwise we will go on some major losing streaks on the road, when we cant match lines. Arco is some what safe in his own end, and can win faceoffs, but the play dies on his stick alot, the rookie, looks like a rookie, some flashes of good, some flashes of bad.
